Pinturas Termoplasticas TERMOPIN S.A., as a private corporate group, was created more than 25 years ago. Its main purpose has always been to provide integrated road marking solutions. For years, dedicated itself to applying road marking material throughout Latin America. Ultimately decided to exclusively manufacture road marking material and serve as a strategic ally to all involved parties in the road marking industry.
In 2012, Pinturas Termoplasticas TERMOPIN S.A., expanded operations to the Republic of Panama and set up a high capacity, state of the art alkyd thermoplastic road marking manufacturing plant. TERMOPIN provides the most reliable, long lasting and cost efficient road marking material available today. We invest a significant amount of time and effort in the value of training applicators in proper application methods in order to guarantee optimum results. TERMOPIN is simply committed to serving the road safety industry.
MISSION
To consolidate ourselves as a world-class company in the manufacturing of thermoplastic paints and in the marketing of high-quality products, directed to horizontal road marking. For this, we have a highly qualified and motivated human resource, industrial infrastructure with cutting-edge technology and standardize processes, oriented to the improvement of expectations of our clients, which will allow us to increase the levels of road safety, as well as to be part of social programs where we operate.

Termopin Drop–On Glass Beads:
When applying alkyd thermoplastic material, glass beads must be embedded on surface to ensure effective retroreflectivity is achieved.
Characteristics: Characteristics: Transparent, of clean glass, colorless, spherical, free of bubbles.
Requirements:
AASHTO M 247 Standard.
Roundness:
minimum 70%.
Proper embedding of drop-on glass beads, allow for improved retroreflectivity, generating increased road safety conditions.
TERMOPIN alkyd thermoplastic road marking material incorporates more than 30 % glass beads in its formulation, this allows for the achievement of ultimate road safety conditions.

TERMOPIN® has invested time and efforts in setting up proper quality assurance procedures. Laboratory tests are conducted routinely to all our products, before packing and shipping. In addition routine quality assurance and verification procedures are also conducted to every prime material that enters our facilities. This allows us to consistently deliver world class quality in every product.

Even when the initial cost for application of thermoplastic is more elevated, in the long run it ends up being more economic because its duration and reflectivity result in a better investment when compared with the solvent-based traffic paint. If a highway must be painted in cold twice a year, with the use of Termopin® thermoplastic paint you will be able to paint it once every three years. This means approximate savings of 60% in the investment in cost of Paint, operations expenses, and labor.
The duration of thermoplastic is six times higher than solvent-based traffic paint, on roads with high volume of vehicle traffic. Its resistance to abrasion and to the variable weather conditions has been technically proven in all the countries where it is used.
The high quality of our product allows to trace a line with thicknesses that range from 1.27 up to 3.17 millimeters, which results in a maximum reflectivity when applied in parking lots, streets, highways, and freeways. This reflectivity is achieved by adding pre-mixed glass microspheres in its manufacturing and Drop-on microspheres at the time of its application, which allows that, with the natural tear and wear of the paint, the reflectivity does not disappear.
